HEARD Alliance: Equipping Communities to Support Youth Mental Health and Prevent Suicide

When the HEARD Alliance set out to refresh their website and K–12 Toolkit for Mental Health Promotion & Suicide Prevention, their goal was to create an experience that matched the care and sensitivity of their mission. They wanted a site that was intuitive, welcoming, and easy to navigate for educators, youth and families, and community partners.

Strong365 Lab partnered with the HEARD Alliance to redesign their website structure, refresh the visual identity, and improve how critical resources are discovered and used. The work included a simplified sitemap, a modernized design system, and close collaboration with Adobe to ensure a smooth technical transition.

When the HEARD Alliance decided to redesign our website, we needed a partner who understood both the technical complexities and the sensitivity of our mission. Strong365Lab was the perfect partner and exceeded our expectations! Throughout the entire process, they were highly professional, detail oriented, and very responsive (super patient and easy to work with, as we made many changes throughout the process).

We also supported the rethinking of the K–12 Toolkit PDF experience, aligning it more closely with the new website and extending the refreshed look and feel across digital and downloadable materials. The project concluded with a full website launch, SEO and social media recommendations, and hands-on team trainings so the HEARD Alliance could confidently manage their content moving forward.

A critical component of this project was the integration with our partners at Adobe, and Strong365Lab collaborated with them seamlessly, ensuring a smooth transition to our now-live site. Their commitment to our cause was evident in every design choice they made. Since the launch, we have seen a significant improvement in site traffic and have received wonderful feedback from our community regarding the new experience. We couldn’t be happier with the result.

Since launching in September 2025, the HEARD Alliance has seen increased website engagement and received positive feedback from their community, affirming that the new experience better reflects the impact and compassion at the heart of their work.
